A bit of a winter chill in the air? No worries, as the Downpour is zip in compatible with other The North Face products such as the Massif or Redpoint Optimus.
The jacket can be worn as a top layer when temperatures start to plummet, or by itself, with the hood adjusted, removed or stowed in the collar as required, in milder conditions. The hood also features a wired peak to keep the rain from dripping on your face and is fully adjustable, guaranteeing that you see what you are looking at, not the inside of your hood!
Alpine and hand pockets meanwhile provide storage for essentials like maps and a compass. They are also still accessible when wearing a rucksack! The men’s Downpour also has a dedicated map pocket under the double storm flap, which will comfortably take an Ordnance Survey map.
