An extremely versatile headtorch from Petzl, the Tikka XP2 is ideal for climbing, trail running and other such outdoor pursuits, even at night. With three white lighting modes (maximum, economic and flashing) the Tikka XP2 also has a continuous or flashing red light. The TIKKA XP2 headlamp also has a Wide Angle lens with a simple open-close feature, allowing the user to choose between a long distance focalized beam and flood beam proximity lighting.
This headtorch is equipped with a white high-output LED and a red LED to help preserve night vision or can be used as a flashing safety light. Operates using three AAA alkaline batteries (included) which are ever so easy to change, even in the dark!
The push button switch not only means it is simple to use, one click to turn on and another to change light setting, it also helps to stop it being inadvertently being turned on when in storage. The red LED is selected by pressing for two seconds on the push-button, the last mode used remains in the memory until the next use. It has a single compartment that contains the LED’s and batteries so it’s lightweight and has an adjustable headband too!
