The Trangia principle is simple but incredibly effective. The pan is held at the optimum distance over the spirit burner inside a windshield. The windshield protects the burner from the wind but ensures it is well ventilated. All of the heat is directed upwards to the pan so little energy is wasted.
This storm-proof, spirit burning, aluminium stove is suitable for groups of about 1-2 people, so ideal for camping and hiking trips. The pans and kettle are slightly smaller than the 25 series. The Trangia is a light, fast and, above all, reliable stove for the outdoors, in all weathers.

It is lightweight, needs no special care and is hardwearing, is quick to set up, and packs into a compact unit that takes up minimal space. The Trangia camping stove can be used in the most extreme mountain conditions. The silent burner weighs less than a gas burner and runs on Tenol or methylated spirits, which are cheap, safe and easily available.
